Rain becomes more prevalent later in the month from the middle to end of October.  The Mid 80's makes Hurricane a perfect wheeling destination du ring the early part of October. Furthermore\, the fall colors start changi ng the scenery into a picturesque experience. Southern Utah is known widel y for it's color country and October is the climax of the change from Summ er to Fall Colors.\n \n\n \n  \n \n\n \n Tourist Locations \n\n Zion National Park (25 miles) and the Grand Canyon National Park (100 miles)  are within driving distance from Hurricane\, Utah.
