July 3, 201213 yr Internet Explorer for Mac OS X 10.1.5 to 10.6 was discontinued by Microsoft in 2003. PLEASE NOTE: As of Mac OS X 10.7, legacy apps are no longer supported with Rosetta. This means that Internet Explorer for Mac will not work unless you have Mac OS X 10.6 or lower. If you have Mac OS X 10.7 or above, you will need to install OS X 10.6 on a virtual machine using a program such as Parallels or VMWare Fusion to run Internet Explorer. internet-explorer-5-2-3.zip

With Wine, you can install and run these applications just like you would in Windows. Wine is still under active development. Not every program works yet, however there are already several million people using Wine to run their software
