The 2019 52nd SCORE Baja 1000 was once again a race for the history books. Heavy rains damaged parts of the course. SCORE officials delayed the start by one day to make much needed repairs. Once everything was surveyed and repaired, course mileage remained about 800 miles. The race got underway with perfect sunny skies.
