Dear Four Wheeler, I have a 1984 CJ-7 with the 258 in it. I put a Howell TBI on it with a Davis Unified ignition on a fresh rebuilt motor. After 800 miles the number-6 piston melted, and that required another engine rebuild. Then after another 1,200 miles the number-5 and number-6 pistons melted. So,
