The NextEra Energy 250 at Daytona was the first race of the NASCAR Truck Series season. Zane Smith took first place on a restart after lap 65 and never looked back. He was declared the winner after a red flag caused a rain stoppage after 79 laps. Travis Pastrana finished a career-best 13th place.
