A Freiburger and Turk Adventure Video: THEY FIXED JUNK, HIT A DEER, and SAW THE USA In A Beat Up Old Ford.

(0 reviews)

Freiburger and Turk have had plenty of adventures over the years, and some of them have resulted in awesome records around the world at a variety of races, but some have also just been while cruising cross country or thrashing on some old car, truck, or van. That’s why this Econoline adventure will not surprise anyone that knows the two of them well. In the video below you are going to see the two of them thrash to fix some junk, surprise surprise, and then proceed to hit a deer while seeing the USA from behind the wheel of a classic. This is good stuff. And the van actually made it. Which is weird. But cool.

Video Description:

This time it’s a 2,400-mile, across-the-USA road trip in a vintage van with David Freiburger and Keith Turk! The van is a 1965 Ford Falcon (Econoline) and the mission is to deliver D/F’s 1,080-horsepower Bonneville small-block engine from Alabama to Los Angeles. The trip includes ‘50s neon signs, then-and-now Americana, breakdowns, roadside repairs, and the smallest pinch of Van Halen history!
