Are $5K Auction Cars Junk? Check Out These $5,000 Buys From Mecum Indy 2026 And Let Us Know What You Think.

(0 reviews)

We’ve talked about cheap cars that sell at Mecum, Barrett-Jackson, RM and other big name auctions a few times in the recent past and I can tell you that while they are few and far between at some of them, there are quite a few overall throughout the year. At their 2026 Indy Auction, Mecum had a few that came across the block and are being highlighted in the video belo. Check them out below and let us know what you think.

Video Description:

Mecum Indianapolis 2026 is officially over, and it’s time for one of our favorite videos from every auction… the $5,000 and less video.

Every vehicle in this video SOLD for $5K or less.

No Bid Goes On cars in this one — these crossed the block and found new owners.

And the variety is wild: Mercedes convertibles, a Cadillac Allante, Jaguar comparisons, a Hummer H3, Crown Vic Police Interceptor, Pontiac Fiero, Ford Taurus SHO, and even a 1931 Franklin Speedster.

Some of these look like incredible deals…

Others maybe should’ve stayed at the auction.

Which one would YOU take home?
