California Man Reunited with Stolen 1969 Camaro Bought Brand New By His Vietnam Veteran Father!

(0 reviews)

We hear about car thefts all the time, and have been victims ourselves, so when we saw this story on the national news this morning we knew we had to share it. In 1969, after returning home from the Vietnam War, David Munoz bought a brand new Fathom Green 1969 Camaro. He drove the car daily for years, and then when his son Victor turned 16 he gave him the car. In 2009, while sitting at a body shop getting work done to it, the car was stolen and thought lost forever.

Who knew that in 2026, while investigating other stolen property, the police would find it and only 20 miles away from where it was stolen.

That’s 17 years that this car has been missing, but now it’s home.

Here’s the video from CBS LA.
