Have you ever walked into someone’s shop or garage and seen a tool that got you excited because you realized it is something someone customized? I’ve done it too many times to count, and am always interested in seeing why someone modified their tools in a particular way. Sometimes it is obvious, but other times not so much. But when Jason from Fireball Tools put out this latest video, showing him bringing one of their fab tables and a stand up drill press together, I knew this one was going to be good.
In fact, I’m a little disappointed that I never thought of it myself. I can’t even tell you the number of times when having a big table to clamp something down would have meant I could use my drill press rather than a hand drill or something sketchy.
