FJ40 Land Cruiser Custom Chassis Fabrication: Body Notch, Fender Trim, Spring Hangers And More

(0 reviews)

If you missed this FJ40 project that Shannon Campbell is working on, we’ve got a link below, but if you are back for the next installment in this build series you are in luck as well. In this new video you’ll see the chassis go under the FJ40 for fitment and some clearancing of sheet metal. I think this is going to be a fun project, because I love FJ40s, but if you have any ideas of building a custom chassis for your FJ or Jeep, you should check this one out.

Video Description:

Back in the shop and making real progress on the FJ40 build!

In this video, Shannon ❤ notches the body to properly fit the frame, trims down the front fenders, and fabricates spring hanger mounts as the build continues to take shape.

This is the kind of hands-on fabrication work that makes or breaks a solid rig.

We also get a quick visit from Donnie and Brandan, who roll up to help Shannon ❤ mount tires—because apparently we’re already calling this KOH 2027 prep
