OUCH! Racing at Goodwood Doesn’t Always Go To Plan… This 1964 AC Cobra Found Out The Hard Way At The 83rd Members’ Meeting

(0 reviews)

If you think that historic races like the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Revival, and Members Meet are just for show, think again. I once talked to Vic and Cammie Edelbrock about their vintage road racing efforts and Vic told me that while rubbing was discouraged, and it was all supposed to be in fun, they were still racing and sometimes trading paint just happened. And it’s understandable since there are race car drivers behind the wheel of some of these machines and we all know how that can be. So check out the video below to see just what happened to this AC Cobra racing machine.

Video Description:

One of the most beautiful AC Cobras with a rich racing history returned to the Goodwood Motor Circuit in April. At the 83rd Goodwood Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport, owner and driver Saif Assam, enters the 2026 Phil Hill Cup with his eyes on a win. We followed his journey throughout the weekend and for those who have seen the full Phil Hill Cup race, you know that is was quite an eventful one… Time for you to experience racing at Goodwood through the eyes of a competitor.
