We’ve got some of your favorite content creators featured in this Day 2 video blog post from Sick Week 2026 and that means Kevin and the KSR crew, Alex Taylor, and the Drag Drive Repeat boys are sharing some of their great content below. Watch all three videos and let us know what you think the biggest highlights are and we’ll let you know if we agree. Heck, we could be wrong, but we won’t know until we start arguing about it, will we? Day 2 did not go to plan for a lot of people on Sick Week 2

It’s been a wild Sick Week 2026 so far, with lots of carnage, freezing cold, heat and humidity, and everything in between. There is no way there aren’t going to be even more upsets after the dramatic start to this event, and we know everyone out there wants to know the details since the only way to watch what is going on otherwise is to pay for the payperview stream. Lucky for us, our pals at 1320Video are on hand and here is their Day 2 video. Video Description: Day 2 sent the field from Gain

After a long drive that really put everyone’s street manners to the test, Day 3 at Bradenton Motorsports Park was a wet and windy one. I know that lots of folks were excited about Sick Week when it started because they all talked about the “good weather” in Florida, but it sure seems like there have been a lot of rainy days on this event over the years. But that can happen at any drag and drive, and that’s why these cars have to be ready for any weather. Unfortunately, driving in the rain sucks

After a long drive, and a rained out day of crappy weather the past two days, racers were really looking forward to Race Day 4. Unfortunately for some they pushed it just a bit too far and that means there are broken parts and bend bodies to deal with today. Ouch.   Unfortunately, driving in the rain sucks but, not as badly as it sucks to show up to the race track and have rain. Everyone was excited to get some racing in on Day 4. Will Day 4 seperate the men from the boys? Video Description:

Cold, rain, miles, mayhem, and carnage. All of these things made the 2026 edition of Sick Week a bit more of a challenge than some folks were prepared for. There are a lot of racers who didn’t finish the race after all the weather and carnage, but the overwhelming sentiment was that this was a fun week. Unfortunately, driving in the rain sucks but, not as badly as it sucks to show up to the race track and have rain. Everyone was excited to get some racing in on Day 4, but all week matters and so

370 miles is a real drive, and apparenlty more than a few of these racers could handle during Sick Week 2026. The drive from South Georgia all the way to Bradenton is a real drive and sometimes racers take these distances for granted. Make no mistake, 50 miles and 350 miles are NOT the same thing. If you break your 350 mile trip into 50 mile sections, with an hour in between, then they are the same. If you drive more than 50 miles at a shot, more and more things in the car start getting hot and

The Finnegan’s Garage crew had two cars at Sick Week 2026 in Florida and both of them ran quicker and faster than ever before, so that’s a win! The fact that Finnegan was also giving away his complete drag and drive trailer, full of tools and all, at the end of the week was pretty awesome. There were some adventures, shenanigans, and some carnage but it was a fun and exciting week regardless. Check out Part 1 of their adventures below and we’ll bring you the Part 2 video soon! The rolling hills of West Sussex are used to the sound of flat-six engines, but the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed is shaping up to feel especially significant. Organizers have confirmed that Singer, the California firm that has spent more than 15 years redefining what a restomod can be, will serve as the featured marque for the event’s Central Feature. In front of Goodwood House, a towering sculpture by Gerry Judah will rise, displaying carbon-fiber-bodied Porsche models reimagined for the mod

Singer Vehicle Design is best known for its subtle yet exceptional reimaginings of the Porsche 911, but with the widebody, 700-hp DLS Turbo, subtlety has been dropped from the vocabulary. That said, the first example of this new run of extraordinary restomods aims to infuse some tact into the 9,000-rpm beast, with an ombré, transitional paint finish that helps conceal the extra rear width of the chunky but lightweight carbon fiber bodywork. Dubbed "Sorcerer" by its commissioning owner, DLS Turbo

Restomod Royalty When it comes to restomods or restorations, Singer Vehicle Designs quickly became one of the most famous names in the business. Ever since its first few 911 Singer models hit the market, everyone wanted one (including this author). Since then, several other 911 specialists have introduced their own versions, but Singers are still widely regarded as the King of the niche segment. Now, a new model is already making waves, in true Singer fashion. Meet the Singer 911 Cabriolet.

The Numbers Get Real Slate Auto initially drew attention with plans to sell electric vehicles for under $20,000. However, that pitch shifted after the loss of the $7,500 federal tax credit last September 2025, prompting the company to revise its expected starting price to the mid-$20,000 range. Even so, Slate Auto continues to show signs of momentum, including backing from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The latest is a $650 million Series C funding round led by TWG Global, according to Automotive Ne

Slate’s Leadership Reset With Slate Auto nearing the debut of its all-electric vehicle, the startup has appointed Peter Faricy as its new Chief Executive Officer. According to Newsweek, Chris Barman, who served as CEO when the brand launched in 2022, remains with the company and moves into the role of president of vehicles. Faricy has worked at several companies, including Ford, early in his career. However, his most notable stint was at Amazon, where he spent 13 years, first as vice president o

American startup Slate is still on track to disrupt the pickup truck segment with the most affordable model in the market. The promised mid-$20,000 price point would make the Slate EV the cheapest pickup truck in the country, and by far the cheapest fully electric pickup. But we’ve seen how pricing promises in the development stage can crumble by the time vehicles roll off the production line—just look at the TeslaCybertruck, which never came close to its promised sub-$30,000 price—but an update

When I think back to my earliest Christmas memories, one of the things I do remember was going to Christmas Tree farms to choose and cut our own tree. It was fun, and made getting a tree, bringing it home, and putting it up an adventure on its own. It was a good time, and also built excitement for getting home and decorating. Back then we went in a squarebody Suburban that my dad drove, and I do have fond memories of the adventures. Did the Sleeperdude family have that kind of fun? Or did the J

For some reason, people often underestimate the technology that goes into drag racing parts. I think it is because they think that going in a straight line is so simple. Of course these are the same people that zig zag down the dragstrip when given the chance to actually race their cars, and who never look at the data available with their EFI systems. With rare exception, nobody tunes their cars like drag racers. But let’s get back to some of that technology. In this case it is the tires, the on

Small tire drag racing has been the hot thing for the past few years, and with all kinds of small tire classes taking over events all over the country for the last few years, it is no wonder the IHRA decided they wanted to jump on the bandwagon as well. Small Tire No Time drag racing has not typically been something you’d see at national event level races, so when IHRA made the announcement it hit really hard with the No Time racing community. Add to that big payouts and it’s no wonder they have

But, after attending the Weekend Of Wheels this past Saturday, we felt we needed to share the amazing cars we saw there. This year marked the 53rd running of this show in Grand Island, NE. The first 50 years, the Tri-City Street Rods car club ran the show. When they decided 50 years was enough, one of their members took over. Danni Oberg of Knucklehead Garage took on the ta

Ford’s 2025 sales numbers have just come in, and it was a generally strong year for the Blue Oval. Not only did the company’s total sales rise by 6%, but its market share went up by 0.6% and Ford achieved its highest sales this decade. Overall, Ford sold 2,204,124 vehicles last year, with its market share reaching 13.2%. By comparison, rival Chevrolet sold 1,829,235 vehicles. Ford outperformed the industry for the 10th consecutive month in December, and attributed some of this success to the div

So It Begins Smart has officially begun real-world testing of the #2, an in-development small electric vehicle that takes inspiration from the iconic Fortwo. At this stage, the automaker is putting its all-new Electric Compact Architecture (ECA) platform through its paces, with test mules currently wearing a Fortwo body as a stand-in. The Fortwo exited the U.S. market in 2019, so some buyers may no longer be familiar with it today. As a refresher, the model was a tiny, hatchback-style city car t

The City Car That Faded The Smart ForTwo once seemed like a practical solution for crowded cities. Its size made parking simple, and it stood out as a niche choice. European buyers took to it, but in the US, it struggled. Most Americans preferred larger, more flexible vehicles, and the ForTwo’s drawbacks were tough to overlook. Even so, the ForTwo built a name for itself as an efficient city car. That image stuck with Smart for years, even as the market moved toward crossovers and SUVs. Smart jo
