The Direct Injection Vs Port Injection Debate Is Dead! Or Is It? Brian Tooley Racing And The Real Tuners Podcast Dyno Test!

(0 reviews)

I know there are some good reasons for Direct Injection in gasoline engines. But I also know that DI engines can be a giant pain in the butt and have some serious issues folks need to be aware of. With all that said, I also know that the folks at Brian Tooley Racing, along with hundreds of other engine builders and tuners, have tested DI combos and know that they can make more power than a Port Injection setup. But I also know engine builders and tuners who say otherwise. So who’s right? Will this video finally put this argument to rest? Or will it raise more questions than it does answers?

Watch and find out.

Video Description:

There have been numerous tests performed by us and others comparing the power and performance capabilities of direct injection to port injection on the Gen V LT engine platform. While we have been confident in our findings for a few years now, there are still doubters of direct injection out there in the automotive world.

We decided to revisit this test and invite a vocal opponent of Di, Scott Clark from RealTuners and the RealTuners Radio Podcast, to join in and see the results for himself. Does this finally put the debate of Di Vs Pi to rest?
