This Porsche Cayenne Body Kit Is So Pink It Hurts

Conservative Looks

Germans are known as very serious people; the world regards them as straightforward, hardworking, and no-nonsense. The same applies to their car brands and models. If you look at the top automakers, the models they sell are very uniform and follow the branding guidelines to the T, especially in terms of design.

Take Porsche, for example: the entire lineup shares a single design language. Everything must look like or at least resemble the iconic 911. Each model's silhouette and overall appearance mirror the legendary sports car. Some people like it; others find it too conservative.

Shock Value

Larte Designs is a German-based third-party builder. Like Mansory, they are German and pride themselves on kitting out various models in the most outlandish ways. Larte's latest body kit is designed for Porsche's SUV, the Cayenne.

Over the years, the Cayenne has been criticized for its looks, but Larte is throwing fuel on the fire with its latest Pink Carbon Kit for the Cayenne. Looking at it, you can immediately see that Larte is going for the shock factor, painting the car in White and Pink Hues. The Pink, while striking, is made from performance-enhanced Pre-Preg Carbon Fibre, a highly exclusive and expensive material.

These Pink Carbon parts comprise the body kit as a whole. Starting at the front, there is a splitter, along with components that can be added to the air intakes and grille. There are also 911-esque hood vents in Pink, as well as the door mirrors. Wheel arches and side skirts add a little more 'stance' to the profile. Its wheels are now white with Pink accents, and the rear features a custom rear diffuser, roof spoiler, and rear spoiler. Fret not, though, Larte has assured customers that the new kit won't interfere with Porsche's in-house safety tech.

The Price For Garishness

Surprisingly, no price has been announced for Larte's latest design, but we can assume it won't come cheap, given its standing in the aftermarket. Honestly, looking at this build more closely, without focusing on the retina-searing color, there was potential to dial it back slightly. The kit's panels aren't as extreme as what we normally see from brands like Mansory; the Larte Cayenne actually seems subtle in comparison.

Joke aside, though, while this kit may look garish at first, Larte knows there's a market for this, and these people are willing to pay anything to stand out.
