The cordless tool game is just that, a game, because several brands are made in the same factories and owned by the same companies which means that if the sales of one brand hurts sales of another that might not be good. This was the case with Hart Tools, the white and blue brand from Walmart, that took everyone by surprise when it had some tools that were better than the Red, Yellow, and Green brands. So when Hart sales started taking away from other house brands like Milwaukee, they decided they had had enough and were pulling out. To replace the Hart brand, Walmart needed something good and they think that is going to be the new Greenworks Pro line.
In the video below from our friends at the Torque Test Channel, we’ve got test results from all the Greenworks Pro tools they could get their hands on. So how will they compare against the big brands? Watch and find out.
I can tell you that besides the great performance they show in these tests, the fact that these batteries are USB-C charging capable is a big deal. And the fact that the USB-C port can also be used to charge other things is a big deal. This could be the ultimate drag and drive cordless tool brand because one less set of chargers is kind of nice. Check out the tests below and let us know what you think. I dig these.

New at Walmart, after sending HART Cordless tools packing, is an all new power tool line called Greenworks Pro. We buy as much as we can get our hands on and find out if the low prices and simple USB-C charging of these tools and batteries spells success or another half baked low effort budget tool line.
