Larson capitalized on a two-tire strategy and passed Joey Logano with 30 laps to go in the race. After that, he never looked back, cruising to his second win of the season and Hendrick Motorsports' fourth win through the first ten races. John Hunter Nemechek came to Martinsville and made a statement. He won both Stages 1 and 2 while also leading 198 of 250 laps and was able to pick up his second win of the 2023 season. This made him the 12th different winner in the last 12 years in the Xfinity Series race at Martinsville. There were a few wrecks throughout the race. Nemechek took only five laps to grab the lead for the first time and ended up leading 198 of the 250 laps, and cruised to the victory by 1.518 seconds over Sammy Smith. A late-race caution for a wreck involving Riley Herbst and Sam Mayer set up a restart with 17 laps to go but Nemechek quickly pulled away and was never seriously challenged for the lead.
