October 1, 201312 yr My personal feeling is that my Macbook Pro doesn't require AntiVirus software at this point (seeing how Mac is only 10% of the market). However, some VPN portals require an AntiVirus software to be running regardless if you need it or not.Check out this link on reviews of the different Mac OS X AntiVirus softwareMac Antivirus Software Reviews: The Best and Worst of Macintosh Antivirus SoftwareI personally installed Norton and its really because that is what the SSL VPN was scanning the Mac's for was a copy of Norton, otherwise I wouldn't have chose it.Now I am looking for a way to get rid of all the files associated with Norton. It is a hog and takes up space and the file scans take all day.
