April 19, 201610 yr IMPLEMENTATION PLAN A.BACKUP INFOBLOX log into Infoblox click on tab labeled "Grid" On the right you'll find the toolbar, click on Backup Ensure it says Backup to My Computer and click Backup (this will backup the config and download it to your computer) B.REMOVE RECORD click on tab labeled "Data Management" if you are removing all records associted with an IP Address... ..click on tab labeled IPAM and browse to the IP Address ..place a checkmark in the box to the left of the IP Address ..under the toolbar on the right click on Reclaim (which will remove all the records associated with that IP Address so its available for someone else) if you are removing just an arecord or just a ptr record ..click on tab labeled DNS ..click on the appropriate view (external is internet and internal is intranet.. internal) ..click on the domain ..in the Go To box I enter the hostname and click Go ..place a checkmark to the left of the record and under the toolbar click Delete. BACKOUT PLAN click on tab labeled "Grid" On the right you'll find the toolbar, click on Restore Restore from "My Computer" Filename, click Select and browse to the file you downloaded during the BACKUP click Restore
