usb power issue

Featured Replies

In the last couple of days I am now receiving the following error message if I plug anything into my very expensive MacBook Pro

post-2-0-72564100-1393600879_thumb.jpg

Which says:

USB Devices Disabled

Unplug the device using too much

power to re-enable USB devices.

All i had plugged in was an iPad. I remove that and plugged in my iPhone and same results. I unplugged that and plugged in my external G-drive and same results.  I believe something fried on my MacBook Pro's USB power board.  I need to make a Apple Genius run and see how much this is going to cost me.  I know I never had these kind of issues when Steve Jobs was around....
