June 17, 200916 yr First before loading any apps or doing anything too crazy try these simple steps on your blackjack First you need to enable Internet Connection Sharing on the Blackjack which is the steps labeled "Prep the BlackJack" Prep the Blackjack Install the CAB file (found as an attachment to this post) Go to Settings > Connections > GPRS In the AT&T ISP and MEdia Net options * Access Point: wap.cingular * Use Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM * Password: CINGULAR1 If you have a problem with the message saying “remote party has ended the connection” just reboot your Blackjack II. Next you turn on Bluetooth on your BlackJack On the BlackJack II Enable Bluetooth and make it Visible (you can do this by pressing the Power Button at the top right of the BlackJack and selecting "Wireless Manager".. Then hit "Menu," then "Bluetooth Settings." Hit "Menu" again make make sure that both Bluetooth and Visibility are on.) Go to the start menu, and start up "Internet Sharing" (should be at the very bottom) Change the settings. PC Connection should be "Bluetooth PAN," Network Connection should be "Media Net." Press "Connect." Pair your Blackjack with your Mac On The Mac Open up your Bluetooth Preferences Pane in System Preferences. Go ahead and pair the BlackJack II. Check out the .pdf that is attached below from blackjack-ii.tattoowar.com IF IT STILL DOESN't WORK THEN MORE SUGGESTIONS BELOW To setup Internet Connection Sharing for the Blackjack II follow these steps (reprinted from the Howard forums). 1. Download the two files below: ( check forum ) 2. Transfer both of the files to the sepolicies.cab "My Documents" folder on the phone. Do not copy to your storage card FYI. 3. Install the secpolicies.cab file but using File Explorer located in the Applications folder. Reboot. 4. Install the BJ.WM6.ICS.Enable.cab file using File Explorer located in the Applications folder. Reboot. 5. Using File Explorer located in the Applications folder navigate to the "My Documents" folder and click on the Certs.cab file and reboot. After following these simple steps "Internet Application Sharing" should now be visible within the Start Menu of the phone. Connect the phone to a laptop or desktop computer using the provided USB cable, launch the application and press connect. Your computer should now be online using the 3G or Edge services from the Blackjack II. June 17, 200916 yr Author ok so here's the procedure: Step0: Make sure your device is app unlocked!!**(see below note!) Step1: Install the cab file (it might ask you to reboot) Step2: navigate to \My Documents and click on the .pfx file and leave password blank; run secpolicies.cab first if unsure or the .pfx file wont take!! Step3: reset device again Step4: go to start and run intshrui/internet sharing Step5: report back and lemme know if i fux0red anything up this should work on both BJ1/WM6 and BJ2/WM6 file is temporarily hosted at: http://www.mdots.net/misc/BJ.WM6.ICS.Enable.cab FYI, if you monkey around with the "Security Configuration Manager", it might wipe out the certificates necessary for ICS to work... if you ever get into that situation, either reinstall the bj.wm6.ics.enable cab file or just reinstall certs.cab if you have it.... **for anyone having issues getting ICS to work (ie connect doesn't work), run this cab and reboot; http://sems.org/content/download/secpolicies.cab
