How do you iLo into a vCMP Session

Ever get that situation where the session appears to be locked?  It sure would be nice to be able to Remote Console into the session and not rely on SSH.

Any ideas?

You remote into a vCMP session by...

  1. SSH into the Viprion Chassis
  2. type: vconsole <vCMP guest> <slot>

If you want to do something like reboot the vCMP to see if it clears up the issues, after you connect via vconsole you run

  1. Run the command: touch /service/mcpd/forceload
  2. Reboot running the command : reboot
