(Words by Joe Grippo, photos by Dan Grippo) We hauled the race cars up to picturesque Beaver Springs Dragway the other weekend for the annual All Ford Race and Car Show. Sunshine, blue skies, and perfect temperatures made for a fantastic day at the drags. A killer variety of Blue Ovals filed into Beaver. Vintage iron, late model goodness, and everything in between filled the staging lanes, and a decent car show took shape in the pits. The racing was tight and we caught up with some friends and m

(Photos and words by Darr Hawthorne) • There was a time when owning an automobile was a privilege reserved for the rich. Then along came Henry Ford. When Ford introduced the moving assembly line, he didn’t just build a better car, he revolutionized the way the world manufactured everything. Ford cranked out vehicles and suddenly the average working family and his assembly line workers could own an automobile. The Ford Model T put the entire world on wheels. More than a century later, that pione

I love shop tours. Who doesn’t? Seeing a hot rod or custom shop building cars and trucks is always fun to see, and when they do it right it is really fun to check out all their fabrication, tools, etc. I never miss an opportunity to take a tour or to watch a tour video when someone has one to share. The United by Trucks crew has started a new series, called UBT on Tour and this is the first video they have shared! This first video is a shop tour at Hart Fab in Pennsylvania, a place that is well

This truck has got some interesting history and has lived a rough life but has been brought back to life in a big way. After being built, this truck lit the show world on fire as it was laid out on 30 inch wheels. As far as we know it was the first to do so, and while I’m not a big fan of the huge wheel craze, the work required to make one this low is impressive. But after being seen by the world the dark times set in and this truck ultimately ended up in an auction at Copart. It had no suspensi

We love a good road trip, and doing one in a topless hot rod sounds like a wonderful idea. I’m a big fan of a good convertible, and so are these guys. In this video you’ll see 100 vintage roadsters cruising through Ohio on their way to some of the coolest roads, sights, and hot rod collections. This is stuff you won’t find anywhere else, and we love it. Check out all the action in the video below from Spanky’s Hot Rods. The Aussies are something special when it comes to hot rods, race cars, and especially their street strip machines. With all the restrictions they have on what you can do to a car or truck over there, it’s amazing the dedication they have to still participating in the hot rod and racing community. And thank god for that! This 1,400 horsepower, twin-turbocharged, LS powered beast is nothing short of amazing. Everything about this cool Ute is special and I just can’t stop drooling over it. After missing it for a couple of years, it was good to be back at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona in 2025. It was especially cool because the field of cars that were in contention for America’s Most Beautiful Roadster were all over the place in terms of style and attitude, both of which describe the Squeeg’s Kustoms built 1932 Ford Roadster that won. It was my personal pick for the car I loved most, in a field of really cool rides, but I really didn’t think it would win because the st

Loren Healy is no stranger to going fast, no matter what he’s driving, but he’s most at home behind the wheel of his Ultra 4 Bronco in the dirt. So what made him want to take the El Bandito Bronco out on pavement? Pikes Peak baby, that’s what! The El Bandito Ford Bronco has been doing work as the RTR crew prepped it for the world’s most famous hillclimb. The video below shows Loren’s entire run up the mountain on race day, where he took 1st place despite a couple of bobbles, but man was it fun t

Horsepower has never been easier to make, more readily available, or more usable than it is in 2026. And while car prices have climbed, and I certainly can’t afford any of these machines here, the price of a ZR1X and Mustang GTD are low in comparison to what anything trying to be near them in performance would cost and are a fraction of the price of the Lucid and Czinger that are in this video. So can the old American icons take on the other two? Watch and find out. Is this the state of America

1320 Video is back at it, this time with new video from their parking lot party car show. We’re used to having big spaces here in the States, but in many big cities in the rest of the world they take over parking garages for car shows and it totally makes sense. We’ve seen plenty of them on videos from Larry Chen and 1320Video, and they certainly look cool. So when 1320Video decided to throw their own local car show a few years ago, the parking garage party seemed like the perfect fit. Check out

(Words and Photos by Joe Grippo) Arguably the biggest bombshell news story that came out of last year’s PRI show was the legendary Pennsylvania drag strip Maple Grove Raceway being acquired by the newly reinvigorated IHRA sanctioning body. The seismic ripples were felt throughout the drag racing world, but none more than in my neck of the woods. Maple Grove Raceway is my home track, I have been going there since I was child, watching my dad Joe Sr. racing his Mach 1. I was finally able to race a

Doors that shut and wheels that turn might not sound super exciting, but they require fabrication and time in order to be right and that’s what we dig. This project has been fun to follow, and we can’t wait to see it out on the rocks having fun too. Shannon is back at the fab work on the FJ40, and man this thing is really coming along. In this installment we are sharing two videos that cover making the doors fit, fixing steering issues, and more. There is a lot of fabrication going on in this p
