John Cena’s love affair with fast Hondas just got more expensive. The wrestler turned actor and long time Honda fan recently took his Civic Type R in for service at a dealer in Florida and left with the keys to a brand new 2026 Honda Prelude in Boost Blue, adding the reborn coupe to a garage that already includes one of the best hot hatches on sale.

For years, American farmers couldn't fix their own tractors without going through a John Deere authorized dealer. The company had allegedly withheld diagnostic software, specialized tools, and repair manuals. Plaintiffs argued this "software lock" allowed Deere and its dealers to charge inflated prices. Now, after a four-year legal fight, Deere has agreed to pay $99 million to settle a class action lawsuit accusing it of monopolizing repair services. The fund covers farmers who paid authorized d

Goodguys Scottsdale is always a good show, not only because much of the country is starting to get cold, but also because there are a lot of awards and competitions on the line. It’s a great location, there are a lot of folks from the colder climates who are thrilled to be there before weather starts looking real bad everywhere else, and before they head home for the Thanksgiving holiday at home. Check out John’s video below, as he works his way around the show, handles some feature photo shoots

A federal judge in Los Angeles has showed that Tesla and CEO Elon Musk are unlikely to get an early dismissal of a copyright lawsuit tied to the film Blade Runner 2049, keeping the case alive as it moves forward in court. The dispute centers on allegations that Tesla’s marketing for its robotaxi ambitions leaned too heavily on the movie’s distinctive visual language, with the studio behind the film claiming its intellectual property was copied without permission. Buying Recalled Cars Was the Business Model A Pittsburgh used-car dealer just landed a huge win against Hyundai Motor America. After years of fighting over recalled vehicles, a Pennsylvania judge has ordered Hyundai to pay almost $10 million. Knight Motors and its sister company, Doman Auto & Marine Sales, both run by the same owner in Pittsburgh, spent most of 2018 and early 2019 snapping up used Hyundai Sonata sedans at auction. In total, they bought 628 cars from the 2011 to 2014 model ye

Florida’s Red-Light Law In Question Red-light cameras have been used for decades, though they are typically installed at busy or high-risk intersections. In Florida, their use is authorized under the Mark Wandall Traffic Safety Act, which legalized red-light cameras despite calls from some groups to abolish them. Now, however, that system could be one step closer to facing legal scrutiny after a judge dismissed a red-light camera ticket, arguing that the law may be unconstitutional. As it stands

Chevrolet LUV trucks are awesome little pickups, and they seem to be more popular now than ever, which is saying something. My kid has one, and there are a jillion of them out there at the track, especially in small tire racing where they are a hit. They weigh nothing, are easy to work on, will fit most engines although they can be tight up front, and they are loved by nearly everyone. So if you are a fan, watch this latest video with Magneto to see what he can tell us about one of these little

Steve Magnante is back at it, at Backyard Auto in New Hampshire to check out another great muscle car project or two. Today is a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S Convertible, of which only 2,553 were made! These were the cars that gave birth to the insane Super Stock Hemi Barracuda’s and Darts we all know and love. These were fun little cars, and I think one with a Gen 3 Hemi would be a riot with a TKX or 8HP behind it as well. Check this out, as Steve will give all the info you expect.

Today’s Magnante junkyard find is a really cool convertible that I think would be an awesome driver. Who doesn’t love a good convertible for Power Tour or Cruisin’ The Coast? Check out this Plymouth Satellite convertible in the junkyard. Magnante is the king of the junkyard crawls and is always finding cool stuff. And speaking of cool, he’s so cool that he doesn’t stop junkyard crawls just because there is snow on the ground. In fact, I think he’s happier when it’s cold than when it’s hot, but I

A Verdict With Real Traction A New Mexico jury has ordered Michelin North America to pay $220 million in a wrongful-death lawsuit stemming from a tire blowout involving a Ford Excursion. Genesis and Its Magmatic Direction When it comes to reinvention, Hyundai seems to know when and how to do it properly. One of the brand's major moves has been beefing up its performance capabilities and street cred. The now-renowned N division birthed the much-lauded and highly influential Ioniq 5 N, one of the first purpose-built performance EVs. More recently, the Hyundai Group set its sights on adding some heat to its luxury division through the Genesis GV60 Magma, and it seems it isn't stopp

Enforcement Begins The state of Kansas has ordered transgender residents to surrender their driver’s licenses following a new law that took effect Thursday. According to Erin in the Morning, a letter from the Kansas Division of Vehicles states that Kansas-issued driver’s licenses must now reflect “the credential holder’s sex at birth.” The new law took effect after the Kansas Legislature overrode Governor Laura Kelly’s veto of Senate Bill 244, which requires all state-issued IDs to reflect a per

Early Virality If you were a petrol head in the early 10s, you know that one of the first YouTube viral video sensations was Ken Block's Gymkhana showcases. Block, who was a fairly decent rally driver and drifter, showcased his masterclass in car control through death-defying driving stunts. Equally as famous as Block himself are the various cars he used in these videos, heavily modified rally/drift racers. He started off with an Impreza WRX, and gradually went for Ford models. When Ford designed the modern Bronco, it digitally scanned the classic 1976 model’s design as a reference point, as the company wanted to capture the original’s enduring appeal for a new generation. But for some, nothing but the original, old-school look will do, and that includes actor Kevin Hart. He purchased a 2024 Bronco, but soon had it redesigned to mirror the look of the Bronco from the 1960s and early 1970s. If classic looks and advanced underpinnings sound like the perfect combination t

A Manufacturing Fault We’ve said this before, and it’s worth repeating: Not every recall is about a design flaw or bad engineering. Sometimes, the problem starts on the factory floor. That’s what’s happening here: Kia and Genesis – both part of Hyundai Motor Group – are recalling over 235,000 vehicles in the US because of a detail in how a part was installed. At first, it looks like a big problem affecting two brands. But look closer, and you’ll see it’s really about how the part was installed,

It seemed that tariffs would kill any chance of Kia's Tasman pickup reaching the U.S., and it still may not, but the Korean marque has just announced new plans for a body-on-frame midsize truck that will arrive before the end of the decade. At the automaker's annual investor day, CEO Ho Sung Song said that Kia is aiming for annual U.S. sales of 1.02 million vehicles and a 6.2 percent market share (across all model lines) by introducing a new line of electrified vehicles, which includes extended-

The Reality Behind Long-Term Car Ownership Car ownership isn’t always as straightforward as it seems, and a recent CBS News story highlighted the role maintenance plays in warranty claims. In this case, Kia initially denied an engine warranty claim from a Pennsylvania couple who own a 2019 Optima, despite having receipts showing proper maintenance. The Kia Optima is essentially the K5, though only in its previous-generation form. The couple, Jamie and Debbie Rekasie, initially leased the Optima

Truth in Lending Act Whenever you sign off on a loan, be it from the bank or for a car with in-house financing, you'd want to know every single detail, or at least you should do your due diligence to get the information in front of you. Likewise, dealers and lenders are supposed to show you how much you will eventually pay before signing. Both parties are supposed to be transparent, though that might not be the case in this story, Automotive News reports. So what's happening with this Atlantic

Kia had another bumper sales month in November, with the Korean marque selling 72,002 vehicles in the United States. This is a 3% year-over-year increase and the brand’s best November ever. Kia also says the November result ensures it will achieve its third consecutive all-time annual sales record. This positive news comes even though Kia’s EV sales continued to decline, an industry-wide trend after the federal tax credit was cut at the end of September. Multiple gas-powered models contributed t

Kia has shared its latest sales report in the United States, and although March sales were down relative to last year, the company still managed to achieve the highest first-quarter sales in its history. Kia sold 76,508 vehicles in March, down from 78,540 in March 2025, but quarterly sales increased by 4% to 207,015 units. Multiple models set records for first-quarter sales, with the all-new Telluride gaining ground, picking up right where the old one left off. Kia is also outselling Hyundai in

Meet Kia's smallest and cheapest EV yet. We say 'yet' because it's called the EV2, suggesting that the South Korean automaker is leaving room for another, smaller vehicle to be introduced somewhere down the line, but we digress. The EV2 is a B-segment, or subcompact, electric crossover, and it'll be available in a choice of five trims when it goes on sale later this year, including a sportily styled GT-Line variant. More importantly than its variety is Kia's claim that the EV2 will deliver best-

The Kia EV5 is not an old car, especially if you live in Canada or Europe, where the mid-sized electric crossover is only just beginning to arrive in showrooms. However, in China, where the car first launched, it’ll be celebrating its third birthday this year, and the pace at which the modern car industry moves means a facelift isn’t too far around the corner. South Korean YouTube channel HealerTV has got hold of spy shots of the updated crossover on a car carrier, and while all the key details
