Sierra Nevada Renews National Park Foundation Partnership with Limited Edition Pale Ale

Sierra Nevada‘s iconic Pale Ale returns with a purpose. A portion of proceeds from the National Parks Pack supports the National Park Foundation’s work to protect landscapes, preserve history, and connect people to public lands.

This year, the program expands in a more visible way. Limited edition packaging replaces the classic Pale Ale mountain scene with full color illustrations of six national parks, including Yellowstone National Park and Yosemite National Park, along with new additions like Joshua Tree National Park, Zion National Park, Shenandoah National Park, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The artwork now appears not only on cartons but also directly on cans and bottles, turning each package into a small tribute to the landscapes that inspired it.

The partnership extends into how fans can engage. Sierra Nevada is releasing a line of co-branded merchandise that includes hoodies, t shirts, hats, coolers, and picnic blankets designed for time outdoors. It is a simple way for people to carry that connection beyond the trailhead or campsite. Outdoor fans can purchase exclusive Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and National Park Foundation merchandise on the brewery’s website.

There is also a sweepstakes element that leans into the spirit of adventure. Fans can enter for a chance to win a trip with travel, lodging, and a VIP stay at an AutoCamp location, reinforcing the idea that these parks are meant to be experienced, not just admired. The sweepstakes opened on April 1, 2026. To enter, visit: https://sierranevadabeer.secondstreetapp.com/2026SNBPaleParksSweepstakes/

What makes the partnership credible is that Sierra Nevada already operates with sustainability at its core. Its Mills River brewery is the first production brewery in the United States to achieve LEED Platinum certification. Across operations, the company diverts 99.6 percent of its waste from landfills, uses solar and microturbine energy systems, and was the first to earn TRUE Platinum Zero Waste certification.

Even its ingredients reflect that connection. Barley used in brewing comes from the Bighorn Basin, whose watershed begins in Yellowstone, linking the beer directly back to protected land.

The collaboration between Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and the National Park Foundation remains a natural fit, grounded in a shared commitment to protecting the outdoors, encouraging people to experience it, and preserving it for future generations.
