< All Ram Upgrades RAM Stock Lights Leave a Lot to Be Desired Let’s be honest: stock halogen headlights on many RAM 1500, 2500, and 3500 models just don’t cut it on dark Missouri backroads - or during bad weather. For several generations of the legendary SUV, the Toyota Land Cruiser has become a bit of a luxury vehicle. Even 25 years ago, US-based LCs included features that didn’t trickle down to more utility-focused vehicles for decades. However, in most of the world, that hasn’t been the case, and based on a recent release from Toyota, this trend is continuing with the new 250. As usual, this barebones 4×4 won’t be making its way to the United States. The apt

When a Quick U-Turn Became a Costly Lesson Last August, one of our flagship rigs — a V8-powered Jeep Wrangler 392 — rolled during a guest trip. The driver attempted a quick U-turn on a narrow mountain trail. It didn’t take much: a sharp cut of the wheel, a bit of off-camber terrain, while in 4 low range, and the Jeep tipped. The damage was extensive enough that repairs weren’t completed until early May of this year. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt. But it was a wake-up call — for us and f

After a night on the Las Vegas strip, morning seemed to come earlier than normal. As we made our way out of town our minds wondered about what lay in wait for us during the 6hr journey north. Fortunately, our minds didn’t have to wonder too long. About the time we were coming down into the Amargosa Valley we noticed that the van radio turned off and the indicators in the dash started turning on and off on their own. Then all of a sudden it happened. The engine shut off and the dash lit up like a

Leaving Tucson early in the morning, we had every intention of making the push to our final destination of Reno, Nv that day. However, sometimes in life you need to roll with the changes. We could’ve driven the entire 13hrs it was gonna take due to the weather system moving through the area, or we could use this as a sign that maybe it was an omen of some sort to seek out another option. Who knew that option would be Sin City…

After a few days of traveling, it was nice to have a change of pace. Arriving at our friends home in Tucson we quickly transitioned from run, run, run to let’s take care of some life maintenance and take a little time to relax. After starting some laundry, we pulled everything out of the van to clean and do a reset. If you’ve traveled long enough you know that not everything ends up back where it belongs and sometimes it just feels good to clean and reset everything. It was a welcomed change of

I think we’re officially in “insult to injury” territory, or at least I am because ARB just teased a whole suite of awesome accessories for the yet-to-be-released Kia Tasman. Now, just in review, this pint-sized truck will be available with some cool off-road/utility options straight from the factory, including a four-door cab with a six-foot bed, a tray bed, crawl control, 9.5 inches of ground clearance, and a locking rear differential. A few vehicles from films seem to stick out to enthusiasts and the general audience more than others. The Delorean, a host of cars that 007 has driven, and at least if you’re a fan of Spielberg and/or dinosaurs, the Explorers and Wranglers from the Jurassic Park series. The characters getting their first introductions to the brachiosaurus via the 1992 Wrangler YJs is an iconic scene that now lives on via memes across the internet. Some years ask questions, while other years answer them~ My question to you: Did you enjoy your story? You may be thinking, “But my story isn’t over yet”. We get it, neither is ours, and yet in our pursuit of a life less ordinary, we spend hours each year discussing where we want this road to take us. And those answers help direct us along the right path. What we see around us is that although so many have so much, society has more and more people who are dissatisfied with their
