Plunger Perfect: A Classic 1955 BSA A10 Reimagined
It’s easy to forget how disruptive the early days of the pandemic really were. Routines collapsed, work stalled, and for a lot of people, the forced downtime exposed more than just free hours. For Ben Rowett, August 2020 marked a low point—out of work with stress and struggling to find footing. But ... View the full article

Torrence Racing Announces Billy Torrence as Pilot of the CAPCO Contractors Top Fuel Dragster
Torrence Racing is proud to announce that Billy Torrence will pilot the CAPCO Contractors Top Fuel dragster for the 2026 season, beginning with the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida, part of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Torrence, father of four-time world champion Steve Torrence, has earned eight career Top Fuel victories. The resident of Kilgore, Texas, last competed full-time in 2023, qualifying for every event he entered in the Top Fuel category. The team made a single appearance in 2025 at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, Minnesota, where Torrence advanced to the semifinals. “I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to race a full season of Top Fuel again this year,” said Torrence. “The team is eager to get back out and compete, and hopefully bring home some Wallys in 2026. There’s no better way to celebrate NHRA’s 75th season than being part of it.” The team will be led by four-time world champion Crew Chief Richard Hogan, four-time world champion Assistant Crew Chief Bobby Lagana, and four-time world champion Car Chief Justin Crosslin. Together, the group contributed to four NHRA Top Fuel world championships in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, and were part of the only team to sweep every race in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship. Billy Torrence founded CAPCO Contractors, Inc. in 1995, a full-service pipeline company based in Henderson, Texas. CAPCO is a family-owned and operated business in the oil and gas industry that performs pipeline infrastructure construction worldwide. In addition to Top Fuel, Torrence holds competition licenses in Super Comp and Top Dragster. His experience across both professional and sportsman categories, combined with his competitive drive, positions the team well for success in the highly competitive Top Fuel ranks. “It’s amazing to see Billy get back behind the wheel,” said team owner Kay Torrence. “He has already proven himself in this sport, and we’re proud to continue supporting him in his racing career. We’re confident his experience will be an asset both on and off the track.”The team plans to test the No. 474 CAPCO Contractors Top Fuel Dragster during the PRO test session this week in Gainesville ahead of the 2026 season-opening NHRA Gatornationals, March 5-8. SICK WEEK Part 1: THE ROTSUN AND BLASPHEMI RUN FASTER THAN EVER! Finnegan’s Garage Sick Week Adventures!
The Finnegan’s Garage crew had two cars at Sick Week 2026 in Florida and both of them ran quicker and faster than ever before, so that’s a win! The fact that Finnegan was also giving away his complete drag and drive trailer, full of tools and all, at the end of the week was pretty awesome. There were some adventures, shenanigans, and some carnage but it was a fun and exciting week regardless. Check out Part 1 of their adventures below and we’ll bring you the Part 2 video soon! Video Description: This is the 391st episode of Finnegan’s Garage and it’s a banger. We journey to sunny and cold Florida to participate in Sick the Mag’s Sick Week 2026 event. Our friends from @FilthyBuilt and @OKRaceFabrication rebuilt the underside of The Rotsun and brought my favorite Datsun 240Z car to see if they could make it faster. Go check out their channels to see the boys install new @ridetechtv coilovers, a fresh @Quick_Performance 9 inch rear axle and @TinSoldierRacecars four link mounts. This episode is special because we are towing the awesome @BPManufacturing aluminum trailer behind Blasphemi and when this trip is over we are giving away the trailer to one lucky winner. Check out Part 2 of our Sick Week series to see who wins. The post SICK WEEK Part 1: THE ROTSUN AND BLASPHEMI RUN FASTER THAN EVER! Temp control, max temp, airflow, and more are all being measured in this test from the Tools Tested channel. Check out the tests that put all these cordless heat guns up against each other and also against a corded AC unit as well. The post Tool Testing: Who Builds The Best Cordless Heat Gun? Grind Hard Rebuilt the Most Extreme ATV From 1970! They Would Never Let These Pay Cats Be Sold New Today!
Growing up in the 1970’s and 1980’s means I’ve seen some products offered for sale that would never be allowed as a new product sold today. Lawn Darts are the ones that everyone always wants to talk about, but the truth is that there were tons of other toys, go karts, bikes, trikes, and more that would never make it past the product liability folks in corporate America now. This also applies to ATVs and off-road toys. Remember ATCs? These three wheeled machines were huge, but ultimately were deemed too dangerous so the three wheel configuration what changed to 4-wheels. I’m not sure how much safer they are, but someone clearly does and that’s why they don’t sell three wheelers anymore. But this tracked beast right here? This is NOT an ATC. This Play Cat looks fun, and nuts, all at the same time and we’re quite certain it will go quicker and faster than intended since the Grind Hard crew is involved. Watch the build, and the fun that was had testing it out. We dig it. The post Grind Hard Rebuilt the Most Extreme ATV From 1970! Evil Little Road Car Feature: This Hand Built SUPERCHARGED RENAULT Is Called “La Brute”, And It’s A Bad Ass!
I’m a fan of the weird body styles and models of cars, especially when they come from somewhere else in the world. When talking about cars from the 1940s through the 1970s, many cars from Europe have familiar lines and shapes that make them appealing to us Americans even though they aren’t the models we’ve grown up with domestically. For example, some of the old Volvos actually look like 40’s Fords. Or in this case, this cool little Renault Dauphine which was built between the mid 1950’s and mid 1960’s. These little cars have round lines and headlights that make it feel familiar, and while they weren’t a power house when built, that certainly didn’t stop Justin from changing the look and feel of his in a REALLY big way. We’ll let you listen, because the story, the fabrication, the look and feel, and final results on this one are really special. I dig it a lot! Video Description: Justin brought over his 1960 Renault Dauphine “LA BRUTE” with a full custom chassis and a supercharged Porsche V6 motor so sit back and enjoy the ride! Junkyard Crawl With Steve Magnante: Steve Is Visiting The Snowy Backyard Auto In New Hampshire, Where He’s Found Barracudas!
Steve Magnante is back at it, at Backyard Auto in New Hampshire to check out another great muscle car project or two. This is a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda, or a pair to be exact, and while they didn’t come with a Hemi under the hood, but they fit so you could build your own out of this one right here. These were fun little cars, and I think one with a Gen 3 Hemi would be a riot with a TKX or 8HP behind it. Check this out, as Steve will give all the info you expect.
