  1. The cordless tool game is just that, a game, because several brands are made in the same factories and owned by the same companies which means that if the sales of one brand hurts sales of another that might not be good. This was the case with Hart Tools, the white and blue brand from Walmart, that took everyone by surprise when it had some tools that were better than the Red, Yellow, and Green brands. So when Hart sales started taking away from other house brands like Milwaukee, they decided they had had enough and were pulling out. To replace the Hart brand, Walmart needed something good and they think that is going to be the new Greenworks Pro line. In the video below from our friends at the Torque Test Channel, we’ve got test results from all the Greenworks Pro tools they could get their hands on. So how will they compare against the big brands? Watch and find out. I can tell you that besides the great performance they show in these tests, the fact that these batteries are USB-C charging capable is a big deal. And the fact that the USB-C port can also be used to charge other things is a big deal. This could be the ultimate drag and drive cordless tool brand because one less set of chargers is kind of nice. Check out the tests below and let us know what you think. I dig these. Video Description: LIFETIME OF TOOL RANKINGS: https://torquetestchannel.etsy.com/li… New at Walmart, after sending HART Cordless tools packing, is an all new power tool line called Greenworks Pro. We buy as much as we can get our hands on and find out if the low prices and simple USB-C charging of these tools and batteries spells success or another half baked low effort budget tool line. We do not accept any tools shown on the channel from any brand, nor do we take any sponsorships, partnerships, discounts, product placement deals, pre-market brand samples, money, items or compensation of any kind from brands, tool makers or otherwise in the planning or creation of these videos. As always, the creator of this channel is also working in product development for Astro Tools. Always consider multiple sources when looking at a tool! 3. The IHRA opened its Triple Crown on Friday at Darana Raceway in Hebron, Ohio, the first of three races in the big-money series. With a potential $1 million payday on the line in five different classes – Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Mod, Mountain Motor Pro Stock, and Pro Stock – and only two qualifying attempts, the tension was high as drivers simply attempted to make it to race day. Shawn Reed came out on top in Top Fuel in a Friday night session that saw drivers getting bumped in and out of the field on nearly every pass, running a 3.767 elapsed time at 332.35 mph – both of which were good for new IHRA records. Right behind him in the 3.70’s range were Tripp Tatum and Jasmine Salinas, both of whom ran 3.797. Tatum earned the No. 2 spot via a higher mph. “I was nervous as heck,” said Reed regarding seeing his qualifying position fall prior to his run. “My wife was watching the scores, and going into it we were No. 2. Everybody kept going quicker, and we got down sitting No. 8, so we knew we were in, but I jumped in there and turned on the happy knobs. It ran about what we thought it would run.” The most intriguing matchup of round one will feature Salinas, who for the first time in her career will face her father, longtime Top Fuel driver Mike Salinas. “Oh man, damn,” Jasmine said upon hearing she would be facing her father in the first round. “He’s been waiting for this forever, so I think everyone in our family has been taking bets to see who’s gonna win if we ever lined up against each other, so I’m pretty excited. If I get to run my dad tomorrow, that’s just going to be a dream come true.” In Funny Car, Dale Creasy Jr. took the top spot with a new IHRA-record pass of 3.962 at 319.15 mph. Bobby Bode was the only other driver to dip into the 3’s with a 3.976, while class standout Del Worsham is No. 3 at 4.010. “We just need to do what we do, because when we get out of the realm of what we know how to do, that’s when things go wrong,” Creasy said. “This weekend we seem to have it going right.” Jason Harris continued his torrid streak in 2026, once again qualifying in the No. 1 spot in Pro Mod with a 3.595 at 209.69 mph in his Harts Charger-equipped “Party Time” ’69 Camaro. A pair of screw-blown entries are right behind him, with Jacob McNeal sitting No. 2 with a 3.615 at 207.95 in his orange Cuda, and recent IHRA Pro Mod Mania runner-up Melanie Salemi at No. 3 with her “Purple Reign” ’68 Firebird at 3.618 at 207.18. “We struggled with new tires in testing trying to scuff ‘em in,” said Harris, who will receive a bye in the first round of the 31-car field. “We went back to our old setup and really thought we had our first run down, but it’s just racing and these cars don’t like hot, greasy racetracks; but Brandon Stroud brought it right back. I’ve got all my friends here. I love it.” In the ultra-competitive world of Mountain Motor Pro Stock, 26 drivers fought for just 16 spots. In the end, it was John DeFlorian who earned the No. 1 spot with a 4.078 at 176.54 mph in his Total Seal Piston Rings Camaro. Jason Grima and Johnny Pluchino hold the Nos. 2-3 spots respectively, while Richard Cowger snuck in the field at No. 16 with a 4.127. The entire field is separated by just five hundredths, with eight different drivers running a 4.10. “I feel like a million bucks,” said DeFlorian. “I’ll tell you what, this is a brutal class. We got 26 cars out here, and they’re all badass guys. To come out here and get to that No. 1 qualifying spot, that’s a huge deal. We are beyond happy. My partner in crime, Matt Hartford, he’s been wearing them out over in NHRA, so we’ve gotta try to see if we can do the same thing over here.” The final class competing for a potential million dollars is Pro Stock, where Taylor Dietsch held off his father, Jason Dietsch, for the No. 1 spot with a 4.908 at 147.54 mph. Jason sits second at 4.927. In addition to the Triple Crown, a host of supporting classes are also competing in Ohio, including Outlaw Pro Mod, where Bubba Stanton sits atop the field with a blistering 3.534 at 213.17 mph. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the chance to improve upon that number, as he was forced to shut the car off prior to his Q2 run. “Being lazy on my part not replacing burst panels as normal maintenance. They’ve been on the car since the start of last year‍,” admitted Stanton. “We should be good going into eliminations tomorrow. I’m very happy with the way the car’s running. It’s hot and the sun has been on the track both days, and the car has been going down every pass. I’m happy to see a full field of Outlaw cars at this race; now I just gotta get the job done on race day.” Other No. 1 qualifiers on Friday included Jody Austin (Fuel Altered), Jeff Chatterson (Top Alcohol Dragster), Phil Esz (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Larry “Spiderman” McBride (Top Fuel Motorcycle), Bob Malloy (Nitro Harley), and Anthony Rhodes (Hemi Shootout). Eliminations for the Triple Crown will begin Saturday at 10 a.m. eastern. This story was originally published on June 20, 2026. The post Reed, Creasy Jr., Harris, DeFlorian, and T. 6. Quick take: After a year of exposure to the elements, camping in all conditions, and rolling down tight trails, this the Skycamp DLX Mini still looks as good as new, and we expect it will provide a restful backcountry home for years to come. iKamper pioneered hardshell rooftop tents back in 2017, and their Kickstarter raised a staggering $2.37 million in backing, making it the most successful tent campaign in Kickstarter history. Since then, their dedicated team based in South Korea has been designing and manufacturing a range of rooftop tents with incredible attention to design and craftsmanship. Currently, several iKamper models are available with huge discounts, including the Skycamp 3.0 Mini and Skycamp 3.0, both of which are over $1,000 off! iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini: Compact and Feature Packed Now in their fourth generation, the iKamper team has continued to refine their Skycamp series of tents. We just finished up an all-seasons review of the Skycamp DLX Mini, which is currently out of stock. No doubt, because it’s a great option for overlanders looking for a tent that provides an incredibly comfortable living space that’s lightweight and compact when closed. However, the same features can be found in the Skycamp series, which includes the updated 4.0 and 3.0 ranges that offer tents in sizes to fit every rig. Like most of our reviews, the real experience with the iKamper Skycamp DLX Mini started with the installation. It was easily completed with the help of a friend since the tent weighs in at 140 lbs. The included mounting hardware made positioning and mounting the tent incredibly easy. iKamper’s Mounting Brackets are designed to work with low-profile and flat roof racks, and it’s some of the easiest we’ve ever used. This mounting system is especially handy if you plan to remove the tent when you aren’t using it, but it’s so comfortable and easy to set up you’ll be tempted to head out camping as much as possible. Once it was mounted on the Rover, opening the iKamper was as easy as popping a couple of latches, opening the tent, adding the spring poles, and attaching the ladder. The self-inflating mattress rolls out and can be topped off via pump. The cord-lined floor offers insulation so this tent can easily be used in three seasons, and with the optional insulation tent pushed into deep winter travels. It also helps with sound dampening and helps keep the overall weight of the tent down. READ MORE: A Newcomer’s Guide to Overland Expo PNW Integrated bi-color LEDs and USB power are nice touches that add a lot of livability to the iKamper. Just plug in your power source, and you can dial in the lighting inside and outside of the tent to fit your needs. Photo by Rick Stowe Photo by Rick Stowe Photo by Rick Stowe Photo by Rick Stowe iKamper does an incredible job with their accessories lineup, from the previously mentioned insulation kit to padded stairs for their ladders. They also have a full line of awnings and annexes to work with all of their tents. This product line makes it very easy to dial in the exact features that you want for your tent. Don’t just take our word for the build quality and excellent design that iKamper offers. iKamper is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified for quality and environmental management, meaning they have met strict quality management systems to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements while minimizing the ecological footprint of their production process and facilities. This is one of, if not the best, compact tents that we’ve reviewed, and we can’t wait to see what’s next from iKamper. With their thoughtful design process, each generation of tent has been better than the last without forgetting what works. After a year of exposure to the elements, camping in all conditions, and rolling down tight trails, this the Skycamp DLX Mini still looks as good as new, and we expect it will provide a restful backcountry home for years to come. So when I saw this Mackey and Machine video, where they take the chop of a shoebox Ford and condense it down into just 15 minutes, I knew I had to watch it and share. These guys are good and do a nice job on this one for sure. It’s fun to watch the process in timelapse because you can really see how each piece goes together. I love long metal shaping videos, but this one will wet your whistle when you want to see something come all the way together. The company, which is based in Lakewood, New Jersey and part of Race Winning Brands, specializes in billet aluminum connecting rods for a variety of domestic and import applications. Seasoned MGP Connecting Rods sales specialists ensure that enthusiasts and engine builders around the world select the right MGP Connecting Rods for their drag racing, boat racing, tractor pulling, drag and drive and other programs. Among the sales specialists is Small Tire Pro Stock racer Wayne Roberts, who has driven his Buick GSX to 7-second passes with a DRCE II engine built by fellow class sponsor BES Racing Engines and boasting MGP Connecting Rods. “We make lightweight aluminum connecting rods for all horsepower and rpm levels, and when I talk with a customer, I ask about their combination, and I ask for its bob weight, its rpm range and other details that will help us spec connecting rods for them,” said Roberts, who also works with customers in the MGP Connecting Rods display at the annual Performance Racing Industry Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. “A lot goes into it, and we want to be sure we get our customers exactly what they need.” As part of the partnership between MGP Connecting Rods and Small Tire Pro Stock, all Small Tire Pro Stock racers will be eligible to enter a drawing to win a free set of custom MGP Connecting Rods at the next Small Tire Pro Stock race, which is part of the Nostalgia Drag Racing League Hot Rod Nationals presented by Ray Skillman Auto Group, July 10-11, 2026 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. “MGP Connecting Rods are used by some of the most accomplished competitors,” said Michigan-based Roberts. “One of the things they like most about our rods is how we do an extra polish, which reduces stress on the outside of the rods, and removes machine marks and sharpness on the corners.” For more information about MGP Connecting Rods, contact Roberts at 719-922-6148 or wroberts@rwbteam.com, or visit www.mgpconnectingrods.com.
