Designed in partnership between CFMOTO’s U.S. Design & Innovation Group (DIG) and the CFMOTO Global design team, the Z10 wasn’t rushed to market — it was built to raise the standard. The wait is finally over — and it was worth every second. The all-new CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 has arrived, delivering the power, precision, and refinement riders have been asking for. Designed by CFMOTO’s U.S. CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 Design & Innovation Group (DIG), the Z10 wasn’t rushed to market — it was built to raise the standard. Overdesigned. Overbuilt. Ready for anything, from dunes to timberline. This launch marks the beginning of a new era of factory performance—where overkill is standard. Turbocharged Triple Powertrain The all-new 998cc turbocharged triple delivers 154 hp and 107 lb-ft of torque with a broad, linear powerband that pulls hard through sand, rock, and technical climbs. Bosch® EFI precisely manages fueling and ignition to keep performance consistent across load and elevation. Paired with an all-new enclosed primary drive CVT system and selectable throttle modes—Comfort, Trail, and Sport—the Z10 stays responsive, on boost, and ready for whatever surface you point it at. Charge-Air Cooling & Undercarriage Protection A dedicated charge-air cooling system keeps intake temperatures low and boost pressure consistent, preventing heat soak during long pulls, slow technical sections, or big-dune days. Below, a pre-runner-inspired aluminum bash plate and vented skid system—combining HDPE skid coverage with aluminum protection—shield critical components while helping draw heat away from the drivetrain so you can push harder, longer. CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 QuadLink Gen II Suspension CFMOTO’s QuadLink Gen II rear suspension and high-clearance front A-arms keep the chassis composed in rough terrain, minimizing camber change and bump steer so the tires stay planted when the pace picks up. FOX® QSE 2.5″ piggyback reservoir shocks feature electronic, switch-actuated compression adjustment right from the steering wheel—Soft, Medium, or Firm—allowing instant tuning for dunes, desert chop, or technical rock gardens. Steering, EPS, & Driver Control Control starts at your hands. Electronic Power Steering offers four selectable modes—Low, Mid,High, and Auto—so steering effort matches terrain and speed, from light precision at crawl speeds to confident weight when the pace picks up. The race-inspired, multi-function steering wheel integrates push-button start, audio controls, and FOX® shock adjustment toggles, allowing you to fine-tune the ride without lifting a hand or breaking focus. CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 Dual Displays with Apple CarPlay® & RideSync The Z10 puts information exactly where you need it. A 7″ LCD driver display (not shown) delivers crisp, real-time data—speed, gear position, drive mode, and system status—designed to stay readable in harsh sunlight. Anchored at the center of the cockpit, the 12.3″ CFMOTO RideSync MMI touchscreen acts as a command center, bringing Apple CarPlay®, vehicle systems, and the backup camera together in one clear, intuitive view. Rigid Chassis & Safety Structure A one-piece fully welded ROPS runs from front to rear, eliminating weak points for a stronger safety cage. The A-Plus pillar design ties directly into the frame to increase torsional stiffness, while dual-shear suspension mounts and a reinforced front bulkhead distribute impact loads and resist deformation from repeated hits. The result is a rigid, overbuilt chassis that holds its geometry under real punishment. Wheels & Tires — Engineered for Z10 Performance The Z10 runs ITP Terra Hook tires engineered to match its power, weight, and suspension dynamics. Their aggressive, open tread maintains traction under acceleration, braking, and side load while clearing sand, gravel, and loose debris to keep grip consistent as terrain changes. Reinforcedsidewalls help control deformation when forces increase. Mounted on strong, 5-star black aluminum wheels designed to handle impact, load, and torque, the package works with the Z10’s chassis and suspension to deliver stable, planted performance where power meets the ground. Bash Plate & Recovery Gear A factory-installed 4,500-lb. winch with synthetic rope mounts directly to a reinforced front bash plate, providing confidence to self-recover, pull through obstacles, or help others get moving again. Front and rear recovery hooks are integrated where strength matters most, while dual shear mounting points ensure recovery loads are carried through structure designed to take it. Electrical Powerhouse & Accessory-Ready Architecture A high-output 900-watt stator delivers stable power for factory systems and serious accessories—light bars, auxiliary lighting, audio, winches, and more—keeping everything bright and responsive. Power is managed through a dedicated accessory electrical system, protecting core vehicle functions under heavy draw. Pre-wired auxiliary switches and an integrated bus bar make the Z10 ready to run fully loaded from day one. Control, Comfort, and Clarity Every touchpoint in the Z10 was engineered with purpose. The fully finished cabin reflects a high level of fit and finish, with precise panel integration, refined materials, and integrated storage that deliver a solid, automotive-grade feel. At the center, a sculpted aluminum shifter stands out—a machined, jewel-like detail that feels substantial in hand and reinforces the Z10’s performance intent. Ahead of you, the 7″ driver display sits naturally in your line of sight—clear, immediate, and distraction-free. 3. Only three fire lookouts are still standing in Nevada, and Ella Mountain is the only remaining staffed structure. One of a handful of lookouts in the U.S. operated by the BLM, it lies in the Clover Mountains south of Caliente, NV 80 miles north of Las Vegas near the Utah border. Ella Mountain Lookout was built in 1964 and is typically manned from May to October. Our Yamaha RMAX 4 at the Train Depot in Caliente, NV Ella Mountain is an excellent destination from the town of Caliente, Nevada. The Silver State Trail system is nearby, but this is not part of that trail. We stopped by on a recent tour with UTV Offroad Adventures. Reaching Ella Mountain is an adventure in itself. The lookout sits deep within the Spring Mountains, accessible by rugged forest roads that are best suited for high-clearance vehicles—making it a perfect destination for UTV enthusiasts looking for a scenic and historic ride. The surrounding terrain offers a mix of alpine forest, rocky climbs, and sweeping desert views, creating a dramatic contrast that defines southern Nevada riding. The Ella Mountain Fire Lookout isn’t just a relic—it’s a working piece of Nevada’s wildfire defense system. While many lookout towers across the West have been decommissioned or automated, this one continues to prove the value of human observation in rugged, remote terrain. For those who make the journey, Ella Mountain offers more than just incredible views—it provides a glimpse into a fading tradition that still plays a vital role in protecting the landscapes we ride and explore. 4. Bringing Real Low-End to the XPEDITION Platform The SSV Works rear-seat 10-inch subwoofer kit for the Polaris XPEDITION is one of the most purpose-built audio upgrades we’ve seen for the platform. Designed specifically for 2024–2026 models, this system isn’t just about adding bass—it’s about delivering usable, trail-capable low-end performance that holds up in real riding conditions. SSV Works rear-seat 10-inch subwoofer kit for the Polaris XPEDITION Purpose-Built Design That Actually Fits The biggest challenge with UTV audio is packaging. Space is tight, and most universal boxes end up being a compromise. This kit solves that problem with a vehicle-specific enclosure that mounts cleanly under the rear driver-side seat. No cutting, no fabrication—just a direct bolt-in install that maintains a factory-style look. The enclosure itself is built from high-strength rotomolded material, making it resistant to dust, water, and the constant vibration that comes with off-road use. SSV Works rear-seat 10-inch subwoofer kit for the Polaris XPEDITION Ported Performance: Why It Matters on the Trail Unlike many UTV sub setups that rely on sealed enclosures, this system uses a ported design—and that’s a big deal. Increased low-frequency output Greater efficiency at lower power levels More “feel it” bass in open-cab environments The enclosure is specifically tuned to move more air, which translates to deeper and more impactful bass without overworking the subwoofer. 10-inch subwoofer Built for Real-World Riding Conditions SSV Works didn’t design this for showroom builds—they built it for the trail. The included 10-inch subwoofer is rated at: 1000 watts max / 500 watts RMS 2-ohm impedance 40 Hz – 1.5 kHz frequency response 85 dB sensitivity That combination delivers strong output while maintaining durability in harsh environments. It’s engineered to handle dust, moisture, and constant vibration without falling apart like traditional car audio components. 5. 1-2-3 Overall Podium Sweep Reinforces RZR Pro R Factory as Undisputed Force in UTV Racing Brock Heger Methodically Dissects Field to Secure Back-to-Back San Felipe 250 Wins First Year RZR Factory Racer Joe Terrana’s Second Overall Finish Marks First Podium with Team Polaris Racer Dallas Gonzalez Completes the All-RZR Pro R Factory Podium Sweep with Impressive Third Overall Finish MINNEAPOLIS, MN (March 31, 2026) – Polaris Off Road and the RZR Factory Racing team delivered another dominant performance this past weekend at the legendary San Felipe 250 in San Felipe, Mexico. Brock Heger secured the Pro UTV Open Class victory, earning back-to-back wins at the iconic desert race and extending Polaris’ winning streak at the San Felipe 250 to three consecutive years. Heger started eighth off the line and dominated the Pro UTV Open Class from start to finish, utilizing the raw power, stability, and durability of the RZR Pro R Factory to methodically dismantle the field. Behind him, first-year RZR Factory Racing driver Joe Terrana charged to his first podium with the RZR Factory Racing team. Terrana’s second-place finish and Polaris racer Dallas Gonzalez Jr.’s hard-fought third place locked out the RZR Pro R Factory podium sweep. Piloting a brand-new RZR Pro R Factory, Gonzalez had just seven days to receive, prep, and line up for one of the toughest races in the sport. With only 20 miles of shake-down time before taking the green flag, his podium finish showcases both his raw talent and the platform’s readiness. San Felipe doesn’t hand out wins, the brutal 281-mile course is a gauntlet of whoops, sharp rock sections, and wide-open dry lake beds that push both driver and machine to the limit. This year’s race was no different. The famous whoops tested suspension, while high-speed sections demanded total control and confidence. It’s exactly the kind of terrain the RZR Pro R Factory was built to withstand, reinforcing the RZR Pro R Factory as the undisputed force in UTV desert racing. Polaris Racers celebrate at the finish of the San Felipe 250 Starting positions at San Felipe are determined by random draw, putting Heger deep in the pack where a clear course and visibility are everything. But where others might push early and pay for it later, Heger stayed disciplined, methodically picking off competitors, choosing his lines with precision, and letting the RZR Pro R Factory do the work. He ultimately crossed the line minutes ahead of teammate Joe Terrana. “Today my Polaris RZR Pro R Factory performed flawlessly, and it feels amazing to go back-to-back at San Felipe,” said Heger. “Starting eighth reminded me of something my dad always told me, ‘sometimes slower is faster.’ I stayed patient, picked my lines, and trusted the car. I’m also pumped to see Joe get his first podium with the team.” Terrana, who started fifth, delivered a breakout performance in one of the most chaotic races of the year. Driving the No. 1898 RZR Pro R Factory, he stayed smooth, consistent, and mistake-free through the brutal terrain at the San Felipe 250 to secure second place. Close behind, Dallas Gonzalez Jr. backed it up with an equally impressive drive to finish third, overcoming the same punishing conditions to complete the podium sweep. “We couldn’t be prouder of this team and the way they continue to execute at the highest level,” said Alex Scheuerell, Polaris’ Director of Off-Road Motorsports. “Results like this don’t happen by chance, every detail matters, from prep in the shop to execution on race day. To come away with a 1-2-3 finish, see Joe earn his first podium, and have Dallas step in and finish third in his first race with the RZR Pro R Factory speaks volumes about the depth of this program and the people behind it.” The team will return to action for the Baja 500 on June 3-7, 2026. 8. PUYALLUP, WA. – Red Dot Corporation, a 60-year leader in heavy-duty mobile HVAC systems, has acquired the assets of TSI Products, Inc., and its subsidiary, Texas-based International Climate Systems (ICS), an innovative manufacturer of HVAC systems for offroad gas/diesel and electric vehicles. This move marks the latest step in Red Dot’s strategy to bring its legacy of innovation, quality manufacturing and product durability to new markets. Acquiring ICS expands Red Dot’s industry presence into markets for UTV/side-by-sides, golf carts and other PTVs, and PEVs (plug-in electric vehicles). ICS is a leading strategic supplier of Heating and A/C Systems in the powersports manufacturers marketplace and that will continue and expand with this new acquisition. Additionally, Red Dot in 2025 successfully launched Offroad Arctic, Red Dot’s line of aftermarket A/C, heating kits and other accessories for recreational and utility riders. (March 19, 2026) – The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is expanding the SEMA Show’s powersports presence by launching a dedicated Powersports / SxS / Lifestyle section at the upcoming Show, held November 3-6 in Las Vegas. This strategic expansion creates a unified home for the rapidly growing intersection of the automotive and powersports communities. The initiative is a direct response to clear market demand and the evolving habits of the modern enthusiast. SEMA research confirms that the crossover between these worlds is seamless: the vast majority of enthusiasts do not limit themselves to a single vehicle type, often owning a combination of modified trucks, SUVs, and various recreational powersports vehicles. “This expansion is a bold step forward in SEMA’s mission to serve the entire enthusiast ecosystem,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA Vice President of Events. “Powersports has always been an integral part of SEMA’s DNA, and we are now providing this community with the dedicated platform it deserves. By integrating powersports and related lifestyle products into our Show floor, we are creating a more powerful, unified resource for the aftermarket. The location offers unique access to adjacent parking lots for dynamic outdoor activations and vehicle demonstrations. The section will highlight a diverse range of categories, including: Motorcycles and Dirt Bikes Side-by-Sides Trailers and Tow Vehicles Related Adventure Lifestyle Gear and accessories New and returning manufacturers are already showing excitement for the expanded section. “We’re proud to represent KYT Helmets at SEMA 2026,” said TJ Jira, Chief Executive Officer of KYT Americas. “We believe it’s an opportunity to elevate powersports and bring more visibility to our brand in the market.” An Integrated Attendee Experience — For attendees, the new layout enhances business opportunities by placing complementary products in a single, high-energy destination. “Attendees can expect an immersive and highly interactive experience that mirrors how they actually live and work,” said Andy Tompkins, SEMA Trade Show Director. “By grouping powersports and lifestyle gear alongside our world-class truck and off-road sections, we are providing an unmatched opportunity to see the latest in the adventure market.” Market-Aligned Synergy — SEMA’s membership is already a powerhouse in the powersports sector. According to SEMA Research, 60% of specialty-equipment manufacturers already produce products for at least one type of powersports or recreational vehicle, while 47% of retailers and installers sell to these segments. Beyond the Show floor, SEMA offers members tools to modernize their businesses, including data resources, technical services, and a powerful unified voice to protect the industry’s future. Through the acquisition of the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA), SEMA has strengthened its presence in Washington, D.C., and Sacramento, Calif., to fight for land-use protection and motorized recreation access — issues that are critical to the survival of the powersports industry. The new section allows the entire ecosystem to gather, learn about the latest products, take part in cutting-edge education to grow businesses and careers, and unite to solve opportunities and challenges facing the powersports marketplace. 13. Newly published BRP Patent filing points to a quieter, positive-engagement drivetrain for a side-by-side, and the real question is, when will it be here? Patent filings do not guarantee a production machine, but this newly published BRP-Rotax application is one that off-road enthusiasts will want to watch closely. The patent is titled “Transmission and Method for Shifting Gears” and it lays out a gear-driven transmission for an off-road side-by-side vehicle. There is no belt-driven CVT shown here like in the Maverick R. Instead, BRP describes a mechanical gearbox that uses gears, a sliding dog clutch, and a clever retaining system designed to keep the transmission engaged when the vehicle takes hard hits. That last part is important. This is not just a patent about swapping a belt for gears. The heart of the invention is a system that tries to deliver the smoothness and durability of a gear-drive setup while also preventing shock loads from accidentally kicking the transmission out of engagement or breaking moving parts. NO CVT HERE, THIS IS A TRUE GEAR DRIVETRAIN The biggest headline is simple: this patent does not show a CVT. Instead, torque is transferred through a chain of actual gears and shafts. The layout includes: an input shaft a countershaft an intermediate shaft an output shaft multiple helical gears a spiral bevel gear set for part of the final drive path BRP specifically notes that helical gears and spiral bevel gears can run smoother and quieter than straight-cut spur gears while also handling large forces. That is a big clue about what this patent is trying to accomplish. It is not just chasing belt deletion. It is also chasing lower noise, more refinement, and positive mechanical engagement. WHAT THIS COULD MEAN The takeaway is that BRP is at least exploring a future where an off-road side-by-side uses a beltless geared transmission instead of a traditional CVT. That alone makes this filing worth paying attention to. But the deeper story is showing a quiet, refined, positive-engagement transmission designed specifically to survive the kind of impacts and shock loading that come with aggressive off-road use. That suggests BRP sees value in a drivetrain that could offer: more direct mechanical engagement less reliance on a belt system better resistance to shock-induced disengagement potentially smoother and quieter operation through helical and spiral bevel gears At the same time, the patent’s main vehicle example could be an electric side-by-side, not a gas machine. So the most accurate read is this: BRP appears to be exploring a future geared drivetrain for an off-road SxS platform, and the patent’s standout feature is the way it keeps the gearbox engaged when the terrain gets violent with no belt. 14. Heger Makes History as the First Limited-Class SxS Racer to Finish the Mint 400 in Under Seven Hours Polaris Racer Mitch Guthrie Jr. Secures Impressive Second Overall, as the RZR Pro R Platform Powered Six of the Top 10 Finishes MINNEAPOLIS, MN (March 9, 2026) – This past weekend Polaris Off Road and the RZR Factory Racing team returned to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the Mint 400, one of the most prestigious and historic races in American off-road motorsports. There, reigning champion Brock Heger delivered yet another commanding performance. Outpacing the entire field in the Limited race to secure the overall win, Heger leveraged the power, strength, and control of his RZR Pro R Factory to lead Polaris to a back-to-back victory. In a historic milestone, he also became the first SxS racer ever to complete the grueling 400-mile course in under seven hours, crossing the finish line with a remarkable time of 6:57:56. Joining Heger on the podium was Polaris racer Mitch Guthrie Jr., who drove a strong and consistent race from start to finish to secure second overall. Brock Heger The Mint 400 course is tailor-made for the RZR Pro R platform. The demanding 400-mile race is broken into four 100-mile laps, and the already rugged terrain becomes brutally chewed up after hundreds of vehicles hit the course. In hopes of dethroning Polaris, the competition brought out their top racers, but it was no match for Polaris racers and the RZR Pro R. With its superior suspension, ideal CVT clutch system, and proven durability, the RZR Pro R consistently excels where the course pushes others past their limits. Heger kicked off the weekend in astonishing fashion, securing pole position with a qualifying time 11 seconds faster than second place. Guthrie Jr. qualified fifth, Ronnie Anderson sixth, and Cayden MacCachren eighth. When the race began, Heger launched off the line, but the first lap presented unexpected challenges that temporarily set him back. Thanks to the quick work of the RZR Factory Racing crew, Heger was back on track, and by halfway through lap two, he had climbed into second place, with MacCachren in fourth and Ethan Groom in ninth. True to form, Brock refused to be passed without a fight, demonstrating the relentless determination that has become his signature while redefining off-road dominance. Once Heger made the pass for the lead, he and co-pilot Justin Wilson never looked back. Laying down an unprecedented pace, they delivered some of the finest driving in Mint 400 history, crossing the finish line in under seven hours and setting a record for the grueling 400-mile course. Meanwhile, Guthrie Jr. ran a smooth, consistent race in his RZR Pro R Factory to secure second overall, while Groom battled the rough, rocky desert terrain to finish fourth. MacCachren also ran a strong race, but a final-lap issue cost him time, even so, he finished a respectable seventh overall, underscoring the strength and performance of the RZR Pro R Factory. Polaris racers Brayden Baker finished eighth, while Blake Wilkey rounded out the top 10. “It feels incredible to get another big win at the Mint 400,” said Heger. “We hit a few bumps early on in the race, but our RZR Factory Racing crew had everything sorted out quickly. From there, Justin and I just put our heads down and charged through. Our goal was a win, and that’s exactly what we accomplished. To finish this race in under seven hours as a Limited racer really shows the pace we were able to maintain all day. The competition was fierce and the terrain of the Mint 400 is brutal, so this victory means a lot. The RZR Pro R Factory was unreal out there, its power, strength, and control made all the difference, letting us push hard and keep up the pace across the desert. We’re excited to carry this momentum into the San Felipe 250.” “Despite a few challenges, the Heger and Pro R combination is unstoppable. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the team’s performance and the way we’re dominating the competition,” said Alex Scheuerell, Polaris’ Director of Off-Road Motorsports. “This level of success doesn’t happen by accident; every bolt, every pit stop, every detail is meticulously executed by the entire crew. A huge thank you to everyone involved.” In just two short weeks, the team will return to action for the kickoff of the SCORE series at the San Felipe 250 on March 25–29, 2026. 20. A 20-minute, factory-audio upgrade that uses Polaris’s pre-ran rear sub harness to deliver serious low-end without a full audio rebuild P/N: 260-RZ6-UNPHZD-BS10V CAMARILLO, Calif., March 4, 2026 – SSV Works (www.ssvworks.com). SSV Works, the original UTV audio brand and a global leader in weatherproof off-road audio systems, today announced the launch of its new Plug-&-Play Rear-Seat 10″ Subwoofer Add-On Kit engineered specifically for the 2026 Polaris RZR Pro R factory audio system. For 2026, Polaris introduced an 8-channel, 1500-watt factory amplifier and pre-ran a rear subwoofer output harness to the rear seat area. SSV Works designed this kit to take advantage of that factory layout, creating a true add-on solution that drops under the rear driver-side seat and plugs directly into the factory rear subwoofer output, with no wire routing, no dash teardown, and no fabrication. The result is a fast, clean upgrade for Pro R owners who want more bass from their factory system without committing to a full aftermarket audio build. SSV Works 10-inch Subwoofer “Not everyone wants to go all-in on a complete aftermarket kit, but a lot of riders still want the low-end the factory system is missing,” said Kelson, Marketing Director of SSV Works. “This add-on is the smart middle ground. You keep the factory audio system, and you get a noticeable bass upgrade in about 20 minutes.” Designed for real off-road use, the rear-seat enclosure delivers deep, hard-hitting bass while staying tucked away and protected. 21. March 4, 2026 — LAS VEGAS, Nev. Jamie Campbell-owned team to make 2026 debut this weekend Two-time Dakar champion Ricky Brabec, two-time SCORE champion Ricky Torres to compete in Mint 400 Ahead of this weekend’s Mint 400—the flagship event in the newly formed American Off-Road Racing Championship—American Honda announced today that Team Raceco Honda will manage the manufacturer’s official side-by-side desert-racing effort. The team will campaign the remainder of the new series, which unifies Unlimited Off-Road Racing and Best in the Desert in what they call “North America’s premier desert-racing league.” Owned by off-road veteran Jamie Campbell, Raceco-USA is known for its extensive line of aftermarket components for the Honda Talon platform, as well as for offering top-level off-road fabrication services. In recent years, Team Raceco Honda ran Honda’s official short-course project, competing for two years in the Championship Off-Road series’ highly competitive Pro Stock class and scoring the win at the prestigious Crandon, Wisconsin, round in 2023. This season, the team will compete in the AORRC’s UTV Pro division (the series’ premier side-by-side class), racing a Talon 1000R equipped with a Jackson Racing turbo. The drivers for this year’s edition of the historic Mint 400, which takes place on Friday (qualifying Thursday), are two-time Dakar Rally motorcycle winner Ricky Brabec and two-time SCORE Pro UTV NA Champion Ricky Torres, with Madison Ebberts and Chris Arreaza handling co-driver duties. The team may feature other drivers in the series’ following races, which include the Silver State 300, Vegas to Reno and the Laughlin Desert Challenge (the Parker 400 was already held). “I bleed Honda Red!” Campbell said. “I’m very grateful for the opportunities that Honda has presented to me over the years. Desert racing has always been my biggest passion, so with this new program, I’m excited to get back to my roots.” “Off-road racing has been an important proving ground for Honda powersports products for generations, so we’re pleased to partner with Team Raceco Honda to take on the inaugural season of the American Off-Road Racing Championship,” said Brandon Wilson, Manager of Racing & Advertising at American Honda. “Jamie Campbell has been a part of the Honda family since the ’90s, and his team has demonstrated a deep understanding of the Talon platform. We’re confident that Team Raceco Honda will effectively leverage the AORRC’s UTV Pro division to showcase the performance and durability that define Honda side-by-sides.” Also competing in the Mint 400 is the JCR Honda team. Owned by 11-time Baja 1000 winner Johnny Campbell (Jamie’s brother), the squad will field Preston Campbell and Nolan Cate aboard a CRF450X in the Motorcycle class. Live timing, tracking and streaming of the Mint 400 is possible here, beginning Friday at 7:30 a.m. PT/10:30 a.m. ET. 23. Every tire brand claims durability. Every race team talks about confidence. But at King of the Hammers, the rocks don’t care about marketing — they expose weaknesses fast. In 2026, OBOR Racing showed up not just to participate — but to prove something. Johnson Valley’s brutal granite ledges, sharp-edge climbs, and endless desert transitions are widely regarded as the ultimate proving ground for off-road tire technology. This year, OBOR arrived with more teams, deeper engineering, and a bold move into uncharted territory: the debut of the All-New 35” Competition Kevlar RocScraper Spec. Engineering Confidence The new 35” Kevlar RocScraper Competition Spec wasn’t a cosmetic update. It was purpose-built for King of the Hammers. Featuring reinforced Kevlar sidewall construction, the tire was designed to address one of the race’s most common failure points — sidewall punctures and cuts under extreme load. Drivers running the new competition spec immediately noticed the difference. The reinforced sidewall structure allowed teams to confidently run lower pressures for traction without sacrificing stability. In technical rock sections, where one bad line can end a race, that confidence matters. For Dustin Robbins, the difference was immediate and measurable. “King of the Hammers is all about trust — trust in your car, your equipment, and your tires,” said Dustin Robbins of AllThingz UTV. “With the Kevlar RocScraper, I could drive more aggressively in the rocks without worrying about sidewall damage. That changes how you approach obstacles. Instead of hesitating, you commit — and that makes a huge difference in a race like this.” The feedback across teams was consistent: the Kevlar spec wasn’t just surviving the rocks — it was allowing drivers to attack them. A Historic Step Into the 4400 Race of Kings While the UTV classes remain a major focus for OBOR, 2026 marked a defining milestone for the brand: its first-ever participation in the legendary 4400 Unlimited Race of Kings. Elite competitors Dustin Robbins (AllThingz UTV) and Robert Liebel lined up in the premier class on the 37x10R15 RocScraper Competition Spec, bringing OBOR into one of the most demanding motorsports environments on the planet. The 4400 class represents the absolute pinnacle of rock racing — massive horsepower, unlimited suspension, and terrain that destroys equipment without hesitation. By stepping into this arena, OBOR signaled a new level of confidence in its product platform. For Robert Liebel, the move into the 4400 class was both a challenge and a validation of the tire’s capability. “The 4400 cars put unbelievable stress on everything — especially tires,” said Robert Liebel. “The RocScraper competition spec handled sharp rock hits, side loads, and long race distances without giving us problems. When you’re running this level of terrain and horsepower, durability isn’t optional — it’s everything.” It wasn’t just participation. It was proof of performance under the most extreme racing conditions in off-road motorsports. Depth Across the Field Beyond the historic 4400 entry, OBOR Racing delivered one of its strongest UTV campaigns to date. 2026 King of the Hammers Results Highlights: 4th Overall — Dustin Robbins (Can-Am UTV Championship) 1st Place Pro Stock Turbo — Kurt Mackie 4th Place Pro Mod — Shabs Piercy 15 total teams competing on RocScraper UTV tires With 15 teams competing on RocScraper UTV tires, OBOR demonstrated not only top- tier results, but depth — a key indicator of a growing and trusted race program. From high-speed desert stretches to vertical rock ledges like Chocolate Thunder, the RocScraper platform proved adaptable, predictable, and durable under pressure. From Challenger to Contender King of the Hammers has always been a proving ground — not just for drivers, but for brands. Success here doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through testing, refinement, and real-world punishment. For OBOR, 2026 marked a turning point. The introduction of the Kevlar-reinforced 35” competition spec, the expansion into the 4400 Unlimited class, and the strong overall UTV results signal a brand evolving from challenger to serious contender. In a sport where equipment failure often determines outcome, reliability becomes reputation. And reputation is earned in the rocks. As the dust settles on Johnson Valley, one thing is clear: OBOR Racing isn’t just growing — it’s climbing. 25. By Cain Smead Over 65 Pro Class UTVs have entered for the 2026 BF Goodrich Mint 400, totaling the highest car count we’ve ever seen in any race. The novelty pro, non pro, and youth classes make up the rest of the 172-car field. I am still baffled why promoters offer so many classes and why racers don’t try to enter classes with the most entries, allowing a better opportunity for prize money and competition. For example, you have classes like Pro Stock and Pro Stock Modified. If your car is stock, it should go in a stock (or sportsman) class, or if you’re fast enough, the Pro class. If your UTV is modified, it should go in the normal Pro or Open classes. “Stock Modified” makes absolutely no sense, and it shouldn’t be a class. I guess everyone gets a trophy. We will be watching and reporting on the top racers in the Pro UTV Class on Friday, March 6th, from Las Vegas, Nevada. If you can’t make it to the event, be sure to tune into the Livestream found on www.themint400.com. Plus, many of the drivers will be live-streaming in car cameras on their own individual YouTube pages. We will list links below as they get announced. The breakdown of classes-entries as of February 25th is: Pro UTV-65 Pro Turbo-17 Pro N/A-8 Pro Stock Modified-11 Pro Stock-7 Pro Open Rock-2 Stock Modified-5 Sportsman-2 Youth 1000-19 Youth 570-4 Youth 250-3 Youth 200-6 Youth 170-5 Youth 170 Prod-14 See the complete entry list here… https://themint400.com/entrylist/ IN CAR CAMERA LINKS The post THE 2026 MINT 400 UTV ENTRY LIST TOPS 170 appeared first on UTV Action Magazine.
